Role Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Marketeer with a positive mindset and can-do attitude, ready to leave a mark in the life of patients with central nervous system (CNS) diseases such as Parkinson. Our new Product Manager enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team within our international environment during the 1st in Europe launch phase of one of our new products. ESTEVE is developing towards a truly international company. During this exciting period, challenges and hurdles of our corporate and cultural transition are seen as an incentive rather than a barrier. Besides having a background in natural science and/or business administration, the position requires fluency in English, both oral and written. Experience as sales representative is favorable. Experience in Marketing, especially in the area of CNS, is highly valued.

Accountabilities:

Under the direction of the Head of Marketing Germany, the Product Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of marketing and educational programs for our new CNS product. The candidate actively drives the products success by the development of brand plans, respective product strategies, and tactical implementation plans. In addition, the Product Manager builds and maintains close relationships with internal stakeholders in Berlin, Barcelona and USA, external vendors, and opinion leaders in Germany.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Member of the international disease team and affiliate Brand Team, responsible for: strategic planning of market- and brand development in alignment with the Ho Marketing, shaping product strategy, maximize EU synergies, exchange of best practices.
  • Partners with our team in Barcelona in order to prepare and align on activities such as congresses, symposia, promotional activities and publications.
  • Working in collaboration with the market research colleagues to analyze market data/intelligence and incorporates the findings into the brand planning process. Keeps up to date with competitive data in the field and utilizes the information to provide competitive advantages for our brands. Serves as first point of information for the Head of Marketing.
  • The new Product Manager leads the development of marketing materials and the timely approval of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements. This includes the training of the field colleagues in the correct and compliant usage and messaging of those materials. Supports the field team activities with accompanying marketing campaigns to ensure the success of the brand. The designs and execution of promotional activities are in line with the global strategy and messaging. In addition, the Product Manager orchestrates all marketing channels and coordinates the brand specific Multichannel activities.
  • The Product Manager tracks implementation (KPIs) and success; develops rapid corrective activities if needed and proactively keeps the Head of Marketing informed.
  • The Product Manager sees activities as investment, therefore measures the impact of activities and manages the marketing budgets accordingly.
  • Finally, the Product Manager is a visible representative of the brand and the team. A role model, who represents and communicates the brand success within our organization, motivating and inspiring the team.

Requirements for the position


Skills & Competencies:
  • Natural science and/or Business Administration degree required
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced in marketing and digital marketing
  • Independent self-starter, accurate and well organized
  • Highly energetic, self-reliant, able to successfully drive performance and deliver results with various parties in a timely and efficient manner with organized project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Fluency in English, in both oral and written communications
  • Experience in sales desirable
  • CNS market experience preferred
