Sr. Portfolio & Contract Manager (m/f/d)

About the role:

  • Responsible for ESTEVE’s entire local established brands portfolio
  • Continuous review and analysis of ESTEVE´s product portfolio (hospital/Rx/OTC) and contribution in the development of a strategic plan
  • Constant screening of the health insurance and hospital market (e.g. hospital purchasing groups) for more impactful access strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOL´s and other key stakeholders (e.g. KV and regional statutory health insurance), develop and roll out effective payer communication for ESTEVE products
  • Ensure an optimal market access and pricing strategy (i.e. prices, rebates, tenders) for both, the hospital and retail sector in alliance with business operations and legal
  • Define and measure KPI's and activate appropriate plans to meet expectations
  • Active contribution in the monthly S&OP process
  • Pro-actively inform about changes in relevant health care and market access topics
  • Cross-functional cooperation with Wholesaler and buying group manager, marketing, sales and medical team to evaluate risk and opportunities
  • ESTEVE’s representative in working groups of industry associations (e.g. BPI)
  • Ensure highest standards of business and ethical conduct, in compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical and general regulations and legislation

Education and Competencies:

  • Health Economic/ Business Administration/ Medical/Pharmacy/Biology degree
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and strong knowledge of the German health economics, health care and pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience as Contract Manager and/or Regional Market Access manager and/or KAM Wholesaler/Hospitals with a proven track record of at least 3 years, 
  • Experience with creating a market access strategy with focus on contracting and regional stakeholder management, experience in portfolio management is an advantage
  • High analytical skills and robust knowledge of market data tools
  • First experience with the AMNOG process and familiar with the process regulations
  • Externally focused - driven by adding value to stakeholders and customers
  • Results driven and strong entrepreneurial business acumen
  • Strong creativity – thinks out of the box – creates solutions even if challenging
  • Excellent communication skills in German and good level of English 
  • Proven cross- functional team player
